University of Greenwich

The University of Greenwich is a major modern UK university. It has three campuses in Maritime Greenwich, Avery Hill and Medway, plus a conference and training centre in Kings Hill in Kent.

The Maritime Greenwich campus is the University's largest campus with more than 8000 students. It is based on and around the Old Royal Naval College site. Facilities include a library, Students' Union, Halls of Residence and a drop-in Enquiry Unit in Queen Mary Court. Subjects taught here include Business, Computing & Mathematical Sciences, Education & Training and Humanities. The University also offers research and consultancy services to businesses and other organisations.

The Stephen Lawrence Gallery, in Queen Anne Court, provides a showcase for the work of young artists and those from black and other ethnic minority communities and is open to the public.
