Dogs

The Foundation does not allow any dogs, other than Guide dogs, into College grounds. This is stated on signs at the gates with an internationally recognisable symbol.
The site is open to visitors every day of the week. In the summer the people picnic on the lawns and children play on them.
This is why we do not allow dogs: for hygiene and the safety of our visitors and to maintain the condition of the grass.

Cyclists

Cyclists are welcome to bicycle through the grounds on the dedicated cycle path which runs along the southern parimeter of the site,by the river, from the Lewin Gate at Cutty Sark Gardens to the Trafalgar Gate at Park Row. Please do not cycle through the College grounds apart from via this path, as there have been several minor accidents involving cyclists and pedestrians.
